But the bad news for certified public accountants (CPAs) is that nearly half of Americans now trust artificial intelligence more than tax experts, according to a recent survey. The study was conducted by accounting software company Invoice Home, which polled 2,000 American adults.

About 43 percent of people said they would trust artificial intelligence more than a real expert to help them with their taxes, according to Taj.Interestingly, American citizens do not have full confidence in their own abilities.
